Hi, My name is Andy King and my Geocaching name is Wan512.
I started Geocaching in 2011 as a way of getting out into the fresh air and getting some regular exercise. After a few months of being out in the field and finding some excellent containers I decided to make some of my own ‘Crafty’ containers for a series I planned to put out.
After making a few of these and attending some events where people had shown an interest in the containers, I started making them to sell at various events and on Ebay etc.. And so Crafty Cache Containers was born. Sales soon started coming in and I regularly attend events (especially the UK Mega’s) and often sell abroad as well.
After a while I also started developing my own maps for use in my GPS units. Once I was happy with these I decided to offer these for sale as well. These are based on the data provided by Open Street Map and tidied up and put on an SD card so it is just a simple case of plugging the SD card into the GPS, selecting the map and off you go.
