This is a real Padlock with the locking mechanism removed with a 1.5ml flip top in its place.
This is a weather resistant lock that is wrapped in rubber to seal it including the rubber cover over the “key hole”.
No worries about locking it once and having it stuck there if you change your mind. With the locking mechanism removed all you have to do is put a flat head screwdriver inside (or similar object) and turn, then the Padlock will pop open and you can move it to a new location.
This Cache is Ready to Hide and Easy to Place, All you have to do is lock it where you want it; to (a Fence, a Gate, an abandoned Shed, a piece of chain or just place it on the ground near a building or latched to something near a trail head). No one will think twice when looking at it or even better…….that it’s a Geocache!!!
It can be in plain view and still be difficult to find.
